Summer is just flying by! August 7th will not only mark the first day of school, but our first early morning MBA meeting of the year. We’ll be gathering bright and early at 8:15 AM at The Olive Bean. (On James Blvd, next to Welch Dental Center.)

The business meeting agenda includes upcoming events, advertising, and our budget. An optional breakfast will be available for purchase.

We look forward to seeing you August 7th as we head into the second half of the year!

The MBA is very happy to announce and extend an invitation to all members and residents to attend the Grand Openings of two local businesses.

Signal Mountain Insurance has had a change of hands as Mel Tyron has retired and handed the reins to Andrea Goldberg. She provides insurance and financial services. Her office is located at the front of the Mountain across from Signal Mountain Pharmacy. The ribbon cutting with be on July 17th at 10:00 am.

The Olive Bean Natural Grocery and Cafe has opened on James Blvd (near Dr. Welch’s office) and has some wonderful local products and tasty food and drinks. The Handy family has put a lot of work in to getting their cafe off the ground and have already proved valuable to the MBA. (April Handy is serving on the Board). We are excited to add them to our community and MBA. The ribbon cutting will be on July 24th at 10:00am.

Please come and welcome these new businesses to our community. Refreshments will be served, and of course, the more the merrier.
