Sunday on Signal

Signal Mountain’s biggest retail holiday is nearly upon us, continuing a tradition that spans over 35 years!

As the leaves fall and the weather turns cooler, local merchants are busy preparing for their annual holiday shopping extravaganza event: Saturday/Sunday on Signal. Beginning Saturday,  November 15, from 10am-6pm and running through November 16th from 1-6pm, this community celebration will include food, fun and special holiday shopping. It is the true kickoff to the Christmas season here on Signal Mountain.

Storefronts and restaurants from the front of the mountain and in Walden will be decked out in holiday decorations to join in this special weekend. Look for the MBA’s special Saturday/Sunday on Signal postcard listing out all participating MBA businesses and restaurants – arriving in your mailbox shortly, inserted into Mint Magazine.

NEW THIS YEAR – Look for “Elf” shuttle vans, provided by Alexian, to transport shoppers from one shopping location to another throughout the event.

Appearing in the above photo are a few of the participating merchants: (l. to r.) Ann Askew of Split Ends Hair Salon, Nancy Coward, independent Mary Kay consultant, Carlos Herrera of El Matate. Karie Holmes of Accents, Linda Roberts-Harris of Cutting Corners Framing, Patrick Holland of Mountain Top Toys, John Moon of HomeHelpers, and Joe Harris of Cutting Corners Framing.

Turkey DinnerPoster

What could be better than Thanksgiving dinner? How about Thanksgiving dinner YOU don’t have to prepare! (Or share with that crazy great-uncle who keeps calling you Champ.)

Our next monthly member meeting will be November 6th at 6:30pm, and it’s going to be a true feast – and open to the public! A great time to break bread and talk turkey with other merchants on the mountain AND potential customers just in time for the holidays.

We’ll be giving away a turkey, as well!

All-you-can-eat dinner at Siren’s is just $12, but tickets are limited. Pick up yours at Siren’s, Cutting Corners, Olive Bean Cafe or First Tennessee.
