Signal Mountain Business Association…Who We Are, What We Do and Why We Are Here?
In May 2006, a small gathering of Signal Mountain business owners met for lunch at the Pastaria Restaurant to discuss the creation of a local association dedicated to promoting local businesses on historic Signal Mountain. The intention of this fledgling organization was to establish a dedicated group of interested and involved business owners and citizens committed to supporting local businesses on the mountain.
Five years later the Mountain Business Association has grown to include over 75 local businesses rooted in the community and dedicated to preserving small town values while investing in the future. The MBA is open to any business–from an office or home business to any “brick and mortar” retail store. Dues are $150 a year and are returned to members through advertising, activities and benefits.
